Notes

  • Fees for foreign students, individuals, specials classes and workshops will be fixed separately. The management of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendras reserves the right to decide the same on a case-to-case basis.
  • Concession in fees for group students and the deserving students from economically weaker sections will be considered on merit. Final decision rests with Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra.
  • Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra will publish and make printed course material available to students for course and examination from time to time. The cost of the same will have to be borne by the students.

Sangeet Prabhakar

As per the judgment of the supreme court of India, Sangeet Prabhakar and Sangeet Praveen Certificates of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad are considered equivalent to B.A. and M.A. in music respectively. Students graduating with Sangeet Prabhakar (6th year Diploma) are eligible to apply as TGT in music in all recognized institutes, education boards and universities as per the bye laws of CBSE and other education boards.

GENERAL RULES FOR ADMISSION AND TUITION

  • Admission to the Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra is open to all without prejudice, irrespective of caste, creed, sex or religion.
  • All applicants will be required to undergo a preliminary test.
  • Admission is subject to availability of seats and sufficient number of students in a particular batch in the applicants streams of music. The management of Music Centre reserves the right to cancel or refuse admission to applicant in any stream without giving any notice or reason thereof.
  • Classes will be conducted as per the schedule and calendar of the Music Centre. Attendance will be strictly enforced and students will be required to maintain at least 75% attendance in theory and practical classes.
  • The students will be required to bring their own instruments for practical sessions.
  • Students will be encouraged to participate in the cultural programs or functions organized by the Music Centre. The nomination of deserving students to represent  Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra in other competitions or programs will be purely at the discretion of the management of the Music Centres without prejudice to anyone.
  • Examinations will be conducted in theory and practical as per rules and guidelines of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and as per the schedule published by the Music Centre.
  • Students will be liable to pay for any damage or loss caused to the property of the Music Centre (including music instruments) or of Satyug Darshan Trust. The  cost of damage will be ascertained by the management as deemed appropriate.
  • Students are expected to abide by the rules and regulations of the Music Centre and the code of conduct at Satyug Darshan Vasundhara campus, which may be published from time to time. Any breach in rules or an act of indiscipline or disobedience will be liable for disciplinary action. It may even lead to expulsion from the Music Centre.
  • To maintain the pious environment at Satyug Darshan Vasundhara – Where one can easily be inclined towards spirituality, it is prohibited to smoke, play cards or gamble, consume alcohol or have non- vegetarian food etc.  Any breach can lead to disciplinary action including expulsion from the Music Centre.

Eligibility

Any one above 5 years of age is eligible to apply and enroll in these hobby courses.

RULES FOR ADMISSION TO HOBBY COURSE

In addition to the general rules, the following rules also apply for the hobby course –

  • The applicant will neither be eligible to register with Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad nor be eligible to receive any certificate of any sort. However they shall be eligible to receive a participation certificate from Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra on completion of 6 months of such classes in continuity. 
  • Hobby classes shall be conducted twice a week for 1 hour each in vocal, instrumental and dance streams. Only practical training shall be imparted to the applicants in accordance with the aims and objectives of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra. No theory classes will be conducted.
  • The batches will be started only when the minimum number of such applicants is 10 for each batch and or subject to the availability of the teacher of the respective streams. The applicants for hobby classes will not be allowed to attend the regular classes conducted for the students registered with Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
  • The applicants would be required to abide by the rules and code of conduct of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra. The management of Sangeet Kala Kendra reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant without any prejudice to caste, creed, region, colour, or religion.

Hobby Courses Fees

Admission + Registration fees : 250 + 250 = 500/- per course

Tution fee- 500/- per month*
(Per subject/Per month)

*However, in order to maintain the economic viability, this may be revised upwards for a particular batch by the Centre In-charge to an amount not exceeding Rs. 600 per month. The applicant will be required to pay the applicable fees by the 7th of each month. A penalty of Rs.5 per day will be levied in case of late fee deposit.
